What’s included (and what isn’t)
Included in a typical install:
- Removal of existing turf layer and loose debris.
- Light surface correction using existing soil (knocking down obvious high spots, filling obvious lows).
- Fresh sod installed in straight running rows with proper staggering.
- Edges trimmed cleanly along walks, driveways, patios, and beds.
- Starter watering and basic watering instructions.
Not included (by design):
- No full-yard grading or re-sloping of the property.
- No machine excavation, skid steer work, or dirt export/import.
- No retaining walls, patios, or landscaping projects.
- No drainage engineering or foundation work.
If your yard needs major grading or machine work, that should be done by a grading / landscaping contractor before sod is installed.
How the job actually runs
1. Photos + rough size
You send clear photos of the areas to be sodded and a rough idea of the size (or lot size). We use that plus satellite view to estimate the job and confirm if it looks like a good match for sod-only.
2. Straightforward quote
You get a written quote that spells out what’s included, what’s excluded, estimated sod quantity, required access, and the deposit amount to lock in a Spring 2026 window.
3. Book a Spring 2026 install window
Once the quote is approved and deposit is paid, we reserve you into a Spring 2026 slot. Exact install day is confirmed closer to the date as weather and ground conditions line up.
4. Install day
We strip the old turf, correct basic surface issues, install the new sod, cut in edges, and walk the job with you before we leave so expectations match the finished result.
